Membership Meeting – April 25, 2024 – Election of Officers
The meeting was called to order by President, Linda Gayer at 4:04pm at the Clubhouse Patio.
Minutes of the last meeting were read by Secretary, Pauline Graham. David Rafeedie motioned to accept as read and 2nd by Dennis Winder.
Treasurers report was submitted by Jan Kinley, Treasurer and read by Linda Gayer. We have a balance of $2,106.59. The books have been audited and approved. A big Thank You to Jan for getting the ability for our members to Zelle funds to the Treasurer for dues.
Larry Haisting gave an update for the web site. He is putting information on the site so please check it to keep informed of club happenings. Please contact him either by email or text, should you have problems.
Dennis Winder gave an update on the clinics. He had a great turn out and met with many members. The clinics will end May 1, but he will be available for personal help should anyone need him. He also asked for unused racquets to help new players, if anyone has any to give.
The ball machine will have new balls in the fall.
We have our Club Banner! Thanks to Dee Lee for designing it!! It’s very nice!!
NEW BUSINESS
We have a committee consisting of Dennis Winder, Larry Haisting and Paul Gayer to design a covered patio between Court 2 and 3. This design will be given to Mike Taylor, HOA Manager, to present to Robson for an improvement to the Tennis area.
We have 6 mini tournaments scheduled for this upcoming season. {3 here and 3 away}
Motion to adjourn by Paul Gayer and 2nd by Dennis Winder at 4:31pm.
Election of Officers: Positions were uncontested.
President: Dennis Winder – Treasurer: Gary See – Member at Large: John Millard. Their terms start July 1, 2024 for a 2 year term. Pauline Graham announced that her term as Secretary is over next year and the club will need to fill her position as she’s not running. So, please give this some thought,
We had 29 present for the Hamburger dinner that was provided by the club.
CJ Azaira conducted the Corn Hole competition. It was fun and the winning team was John Millard and John Birchmeier.
It was a fun evening and we missed those that couldn’t join us!!
