Executive Board Meeting
Feb 29, 2024

Meeting was called to order by President, Linda Gayer. Members Present were: Pauline Graham,, Sec., Jan Kinley, Treasurer and Larry Haisting, Member at Large. Meeting was held in the Coffee Cafe in Robson Ranch.

Treasures report was given by Jan Kinley, with $2,334..71 in our account. There are still some outstanding bills from the Tournament that we held on Feb. 24, 2024.

The March 8 social will be canceled for this month.

We are hosting the March 9 Fun Tournament.  Linda will ask Bonnie Millard and Nancy Mize to chair the Food Committee.  Ellen Rafeedie will make the breakfast items. A;; bo;;s wo;; be sib,otted for reimbursement.

We will have April social with dinner in the Fireside Room.. Everyone will pay their own bill.  CJ will make the arrangements.

Bonnie Millard is the Nominating Chairman.  She will email all members and the ballots are to be back by April 24,, 2024.

Jan moved to have the Annual Meeting on Thursday April 25, 2024.  CJ will make the arrangements for the Patio, cornhole and the club will provide hamburgers.

Larry reported 55 survey request were emailed with 25 members replying. He also sent out  25 to non-members and 9 had 9 replies

Jan moved to adjourn.

General Meeting Social, Dinner and Corn Hole Tournament

We had a nice social with 10 players for tennis.

Dinner was Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, chips and cookies provided by our club for members and spouses.

Meeting was called to order by President Linda Gayer. Minutes were read and approved  Treasurers report from Bill Christofferson showed remaining balance of $2,471.00 before dinner expenses.

Reminder that the ball machine is available for club members that have been trained and have signed the HOA waiver along with  the trainer.

We are hosting 2 clubs next season and being hosted by 3,  which will be fun, as the clubs expressed their enjoyment of coming to our courts earlier this year!

The club is asking for a By-Laws Revision Committee and we asked Gary See to Chair this.  The last revision was done in 2017. 

Election of Officers was on the agenda.  We had a late write in candidate. David Rafeedie motioned to extend the dead line date from March 31, 2023 to allow Beliinda Akes to run for Member-at-Large. Motion was 2nd by Nancy Mize.  Richard Akes nominated Belinda Akes for the position and Sue McCloud 2nd the motion.   All  members that have not already voted,  will have one week ( 4:00pm -April 21,2023 deadline) to submit their ballot to the Chairman, Dee Lee by email or test. Winners will be announced on April 22,2023

 The election is for two positions: 2 year term for Secretary – Pauline Graham –  unopposed

2 year term for Member at Large : CJ Azaira and Belinda Akes

Special acknowledgements and thank you to Ellen Rafeedie, Shari See, Sue McCloud, Barb Sewell, Marsha Oliver,  Tammy Taylor, Bonnie Millard and Pauline Graham for all their contributions in food preparation for our tournaments!

The web site was discussed and we are trying to make it accessible for all members.

Dinner was grilled on the patio by the restaurant and enjoyed by all!!

The Corn Hole tournament was fun with winners Dave Cannella and Phil Oliver! 

We had 24 members and spouses present.
